Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric PACU

Job Details:

• Evening/night shifts available in 8, 10, or 12-hour increments
• Shift times are 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with flexibility
• Schedule is Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday
• No on-call required for scheduled shifts
• Contract length of 13-17 weeks accepted
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric PACU experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• WI RN or compact RN license required; pending WI license accepted with submission
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA only)
• Traveler must pass a Telemetry exam prior to being cleared to start; two attempts allowed with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Responsible for independent peri-anesthetic management of complex surgical and procedural inpatient/outpatient pediatric populations
• Care for a varied case load of surgical and procedural patients across age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred

The facility is a Magnet-designated hospital and is home to a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level IV NICU, providing specialized care for the tiniest and most complex patients throughout the region and beyond. The state-of-the-art facility is widely praised for its expert care and warm, healing environment designed specifically for pediatric patients and their families.
